Responsibilities of the ideal candidate: 

  • Prospect leads and acquire qualified students who are interested in studying abroad and provide strategic guidance to connect them with the right educational institution based on their needs. 

  • Perform a range of outbound sales and account management activities (calls, e-mails, CRM logging, virtual meetings with potential international students every day). Generate appointments by means of proactive outbound prospecting.

  • Increase brand presence, lead generation, customer acquisition in specified target markets aligned with company objectives. 

  • Manage a portfolio of student accounts to achieve long-term success and develop positive relationships with clients. 

  • Develop and maintain high levels of customer interaction,  conversion and lead generation.

  • Develop and implement strategic promotional strategies to publicize Connected’s services and increase customer acquisition.

  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions

  • Communicate with higher ed institutions on behalf of students. 

  • Generate new business opportunities using existing and potential customer networks. 

  • Work in collaboration with Management & Marketing Team to suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth. 

  • Perform any tasks assigned by management.  



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 1+ years' of experience in related role

  • Strong communication skills

  • You will need to have a proven track record and of increasing sales and retaining business as a business development representative.

  • Must have Excellent computer skills which include Microsoft Office suite/Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Skype for Business and Outlook), G-Suite (Gmail and Google Drive) and Adobe (PDF and Photoshop) 

  • Ability to communicate in English effectively and listen attentively 

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills 

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple projects and timelines 

  • Must have excellent writing skills, with a proficiency in proofreading and grammar 

  • Meticulous attention to detail and capable of independent decision-making 

  • Must be highly organized and work well under strict deadlines

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a virtual team environment 

  • Good interpersonal skills and strong capacity for teamwork 

  • Fluency in English is an asset


Employment Status: Full-time


Job Location: Canada

Salary: 20,000-30,000 BDT Plus Commission.
